LOON THE RAPPER CONVERT TO ISLAM

masyallah. kalau dah Allah nak kasi hidayah tidak kira bila dan mengapa dia. tadi aku baru saja pegi join this event. aku tak tahu kalau korang kenal ke tak LOON ni. aku pon baru-baru ni je tahu. dia artis Bad Boy, rapper, hip hop bagai tu. ni serba ringkas latar belakang dia.

Chauncey Lamont Hawkins, June 20, 1975 in Harlem, New York better known by his stage name Loon, is an African-American rapper that was formerly part of P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records, where he released his self-titled debut album, Loon. He has also made many guest appearances on songs of the R&B and hip-hop genres. He is best known for his role in P. Diddy's 2001 Hits "I Need A Girl Pt. 1" In 2004, Loon left Bad Boy to start his own label, Boss Up Entertainment. Loon started his music career as a member ofMase's rap collective Harlem World. Along with his music Loon has also been featured in two movies directed by Damon Dash, State Property 2 and Death of a Dynasty. Loon has recently converted to Islam.

but now he's a Muslim. nama dia sekarang Amir Junaid Muhadith. aku kagum sangat dengar dia cerita pasal life dia. kata-kata dia bikin meremang bulu roma laaa. dia punya penghayatan terhadap Islam benar-benar mencuit hati aku. apa tidaknya. aku yang sedia lahir dalam Islam, dibesarkan denga cara hidup sepenuhnya Islam, keluarga semua Islam, rukun tetangga 100% adalah orang Islam pun tidak seperti dia. tulus sungguh hati dia menerima Islam dan bukan sewenang-wenangnya. he's really mean it. bermacam-macam halangan yang ditempuh. memang bukan senang untuk menuju ke arah kebenaran. macam- macam tohmahan diterima. korang boleh tengok sini.

but from his inspiring speech, there is a phrase does make sense. and he keeps repeating this phrase for three time:

if you are given, be grateful.

if you are tested, be patient.

if you are sinful, seek for forgiveness.

inilah rupa saudara Amir ni. personaliti dia sebelum dan selepas terlalu jauh berbeza. but the way he's speaking nothing change. well, you know how the rapper style. can all of you imagine, delivering dakwah with his rapper hands and his rapper accents. hahaha. sempoi je. aku suka sangat tengok dia pakai jubah putih tadi. ada gaya macam Osama Laden! masyallah. aku terpegun dengan kuasa Allah Maha Besar.
